Amy Thornton was an anti-apartheid activist and organizer. She was a member of the Modern Youth Society (MYS), Modern World Society(MWS), South African Communist Party (SACP) and the African National Congress (ANC). A few members of our class had the opportunity to speak with Amy about her experiences as an activist.
